Founded with a heart for the rural and underserved, Karunya Community Health Clinic is a dedicated outreach unit of Agape Hospital, Hosur. Established on May 14, 2014, with the leasing of a facility near Bagalur Circle on the Bagalur–Malur Road, this clinic was envisioned as a steppingstone to bring accessible and compassionate medical care to those who need it the most.

Mission of Agape Hospital: Providing quality healthcare and community health education and prevention programs, to the Hosur taluk and surrounding regions.
Karunya Clinic offers general medical and dental care, with doctor availability scheduled based on community needs—primarily during evening hours—to accommodate daily wage workers and families who may not be able to access healthcare during the day. For patients requiring further or specialized care, seamless referrals are made to Agape Hospital, Jeemangalam or to appropriate government and private higher medical centers, ensuring continuous and coordinated treatment.
Extending Healthcare Beyond the Clinic Walls
Karunya Clinic also serves as a base for our broader community health outreach programs, in collaboration with the Community Health Team at Agape Hospital’s main campus in Jeemangalam, Hosur. Our work is deeply rooted in community engagement—we conduct regular surveys and field visits to understand local health challenges and respond with actionable care.
Our focus areas include the villages of: Nallur, Bagalur, Jeemangalam, Eluvapalli, Perumalpalli, Mugulapalli, Attur, Lingapuram, Dasarapalli, Dinnapalli, Kalahasthipuram, Kanimangalam, Uliyalam, Marachandiram, Byrachandiram, Chennasandram, and Inapachandiram.
We frequently partner with government hospitals and public health agencies to conduct medical camps, raise health awareness, and promote preventive care. Our outreach has targeted maternity care, dental and eye care, lifestyle-related diseases, and occupational health risks—particularly for factory workers in the Hosur area, with a strong emphasis on workplace safety and the use of protective equipment.
Ongoing Screening and Community Health Initiatives
As part of our commitment to long-term health improvement, Agape Hospital’s community health team has been conducting regular health screenings in the villages we serve. Our efforts include collecting demographic and medical data, followed by free health screenings at the hospital for identified individuals. These initiatives are helping us build a database for proactive, inclusive, and preventive health interventions in the region
